Refundable Security Deposit
To protect our fleet and ensure a smooth rental experience, CMG Exotics requires a refundable security deposit for all rentals. This deposit acts as a temporary hold to cover potential incidental charges, such as:
- Excess mileage
- Toll violations or unpaid tickets
- Vehicle damage or excessive wear
- Smoking or cleaning fees
- Late return penalties
How Much Is the Deposit?
The deposit amount depends on the vehicle being rented and your insurance coverage:
- Standard Vehicles: $750–$1,000
- Premium & High-Performance Vehicles: $1,500–$2,500
- Exotics & Supercars: $2,500+ We reserve the right to adjust the deposit amount based on risk assessment, driving history, and verification details.
How It Works
- The deposit is held on your credit or debit card at the time of booking or pickup.
- It is not charged, only authorized (held).
- Upon safe and timely return of the vehicle in the same condition it was rented, the full deposit will be released.
- Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank but generally take 3–7 business days.
Important Notes
- Deposits must be secured using a valid card in the renter’s name.
- We do not accept prepaid cards, Venmo, Cash App cards, or third-party payment apps for deposits.
- If damage or violations occur, charges will be itemized and deducted from the deposit, with supporting documentation provided.
