Insurance Requirements
At CMG Exotics, safety and accountability are at the core of our rental experience. To protect both our clients and our fleet of high-performance vehicles, all renters must carry valid, verifiable full-coverage auto insurance in their own name.
Minimum Coverage Requirements
- Bodily Injury Liability – $100k/$300k
- Uninsured / Underinsured Motorist Coverage – $100k/$300k
- Property Damage Liability – $100k minimum
- Comprehensive and Collision Coverage – Must extend to rental or non-owned vehicles
- Deductible Limit – May not exceed $2k

- We accept all major U.S.-based auto insurance companies, including but not limited to:
- GEICO
- State Farm
- Progressive
- Allstate
- USAA
- Farmers
- Liberty Mutual

Not Covered? No Problem.
If your personal insurance does not extend coverage to exotic or luxury rentals, you have two options:
1.Add a Rental Endorsement
2.Purchase Coverage Through CMG Partners
Contact your insurance provider and request a temporary rental rider or non-owned vehicle endorsement that meets our coverage requirements.
We partner with select providers to offer short-term rental insurance for eligible drivers. Ask our team how to get pre-approved.
Driver Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum age: 25 years old
- Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Name on driver’s license must match the name on the insurance policy
- No major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving) within the past 3 years
- Valid credit card on file for the security deposit
Commercial Rentals & Chauffeured Experiences
- For business or corporate bookings, we require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing CMG Exotics LLC as an Additional Insured and Loss Payee.
- For chauffeured rides, insurance requirements may
differ and will be covered under CMG’s commercial liability policy.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required on all rentals. Deposit amounts vary by vehicle and insurance profile but typically range from $750 to $2,500.
This hold is released upon the safe return of the vehicle in its original condition.
Final Notes
- CMG Exotics reserves the right to decline a rental if insurance coverage is inadequate or unverifiable.
- Insurance verification must be completed before the vehicle is released.
- International renters must contact us in advance to discuss specialized coverage requirements.
